Gary is committed to telling meaningful stories, that promote wider world views.

I am a photographer and videographer that chose to study Sociology in university because I was more interested in understanding people than anything else. This was explored through the study of different cultures, people, and behavior patterns. My early passion derived from my study abroad experiences in South Africa, Yosemite, and China, but quickly intertwined with my obsession of documenting. I've been able to turn my observational skills into art, which is highlighted throughout my work.

I committed to developing my skills as a creative storyteller, by documenting on the road full time since 2018. Since then I have photographed and contributed to many national level projects for Leave No Trace, Subaru of America, and the National Park Service. Some projects include, Subaru’s National Cleanup Week Campaign(s) 2021-2023, and the Zero Landfill initiatives within Grand Teton, and Yosemite National Park.

The areas of work that I strive to continue contributing to is within humanitarian and conservation photojournalism.
